Geraldine Schroeder has been a personal member of DGAP since 2010 and a member of the DGAP Board since 2019. Her other voluntary activities include advising cultural enterprises on the promotion of young talent and mentoring young professionals. Since October 2023, Schroeder has headed the German business of global communications consultancy Hill + Knowlton. In this role, she is also a member of its global management team. Her clients include the senior management of companies, associations, and foundations, whom she advises on issues of reputation protection, complex transformations, and strategy processes.
Schroeder previously headed an owner-managed strategy consultancy and held various management positions in corporate communications and public affairs. These included positions at the energy companies Vattenfall and Engie as well as at the mechanical engineering company Voith. After studying musicology and history, she started her career in journalism (BBC, SAT.1) before moving into communications.
