Jonas Richter was research assistant to DGAP’s director from October 2018 through July 2020. Previously, he worked as a research assistant for the University of Potsdam on a project on the expert authority of international organizations. 

Richter earned his master’s degree in international relations with a focus on EU studies from Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and the University of Potsdam. He also has a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. During his studies, Richter gained international experience at the Complutense University of Madrid and Sciences Po in Paris.
