DGAP’s research work simultaneously provides a comprehensive view of world affairs from a German perspective and detailed analysis of the core topics driving German foreign policy. Three overarching pillars provide orientation for that work – disruptions and breakthroughs for the world, new alliances and allies for Europe, and grand strategy for Germany. In accordance with those pillars, we concentrate our work on key regions that yield the deepest insights into global power shifts and current challenges for the European security order.
