Twenty young and mid-level experts and professionals from academia, politics, the media, and civil society will be invited to Tunis for three days. The conference program will include plenary sessions with external speakers as well as intensive working group sessions, in which the participants will present and discuss their own papers. The key objectives of the workshop are to analyze current debates and insights regarding terrorism in Tunisia and develop policy recommendations including both academic and practical/professional perspectives. Furthermore, the workshop will serve to establish and strengthen a network of young and mid-level scholars and professionals from North Africa, Turkey, and the EU working on common topics. The working language of the workshop will be English.
