Wiebke Ewering (33) has been the new head of the press and communication department of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) since 16 August 2019. In this position, she further develops the external communication strategy, works on the revision of the company's image in coordination with the management, and is editorially responsible for the company's publications.

Most recently, Ewering was the Communications officer at the Berlin office of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). The political scientist has already worked at DGAP in 2014/15 as a press officer. In her new position, she reports to the Director Dr. Daniela Schwarzer.
