The NATO Public Forum is a public event jointly organised by NATO and the Host Nation Government with civil society organisations, taking place during the Summit meetings of NATO’s Heads of State and Government.
This year, the NATO Public Forum takes place in Washington D.C. on July 10 and 11 . The event aims to promote a better public understanding of Alliance’s policies and goals and the decisions to be adopted in Washington D.C., through dialogue and engagement with a unique and diverse group of stakeholders. Heads of State and Government, Ministers, international security experts, opinion formers, academics, journalists and young people with be joining the discussion. By supporting this event, DGAP demonstrates its commitment to promoting dialogue and understanding on issues related to collective defence, crisis management, and international peace and security.
