More Engagement for the Digital Agenda

Günther H. Oettinger speaks to the DGAP Study Group on EU Policy

Oettinger stressed that extension of broadband networks, harmonization of data protection and intellectual property rights, vigilant data protection, and, not least, better training are preconditions for making Europe more competitive.

Elmar Brok, member of European Parliament, chaired the roundtable. Several members of the German Bundestag were present.
