Throughout the event, we will delve into five key aspects of diplomacy: 

  • First, we will examine what diplomacy is and how its meaning has evolved over time.  
  • Additionally, we will explore the daily routines of diplomats and highlight why their role is essential.  
  • We will also consider the implications of a world without diplomacy, analyzing the potential consequences of its absence.  
  • Furthermore, we will discuss how international norms shape diplomatic practices and the ways in which diplomats influence these norms.   
  • Lastly, we will reflect on the qualities suited to a diplomatic career and address the advice and challenges faced by those in this profession.
