DGAP’s Research Institute regularly brings together experts and high-level guests to discuss the latest developments in foreign affairs. On October 15, we will explore the prospects and challenges of the European Council meeting that will take place that day and the next in Brussels. There, state leaders will enter a decisive phase of negotiations on the EU’s next long-term budget, the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2028 to 2034. Following the European Commission’s release of its pre-accession policy reviews on the impact of enlargement on the EU, we will also reflect on the issue of European integration.

Please register here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the DGAP Morning Briefing via Zoom. Participants will be able to ask questions via Zoom’s question and answer function during the discussion.
