DGAP’s Research Institute regularly brings together experts and high-level guests to discuss the latest developments in foreign affairs. On Thursday, August 20, we will discuss the implications of the armed drone attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport. On the one hand, we want to understand the operational details of drone attacks and anti-drone technology. But we will also examine hybrid warfare and the defense of critical infrastructure more broadly. Finally, we will address intelligence capabilities that are needed to deter hybrid aggressors, commenting on the BND reform bill that the Federal Cabinet passed on August 12.
