DGAP’s Research Institute regularly brings together experts and high-level guests to discuss the latest developments in foreign affairs. On April 30, we will assess the current situation in Ukraine from three perspectives. First, based on their first-hand impressions from the country, our experts will report on domestic political trends. Next, we will explore expectations and possible scenarios for Ukraine’s EU membership, including the role of EU member states. Finally, we will examine how to keep momentum for international support up at a time of war in the Middle East and mounting economic problems in Europe, bearing in mind that it is unclear whether the United States will continue to supply weapons and interceptors for air defense even if they are paid by European governments.
