The foreign minister further emphasized Pakistan’s relations and interests in its region and the importance of a peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
Although Pakistan has shown serious commitments on many levels to support peace in Afghanistan, Khar argued that Afghans themselves must determine Afghanistan’s future.
Regarding her own country, Khar stressed the importance of democratic values. Although the process is difficult, so Khar, Pakistan has come a long way since the beginning of democracy in 2008.
