Activities and Initiatives

The Robert Bosch Center develops and organizes numerous conferences, seminars, expert roundtables, discussions, background briefings, and working groups to address current policy questions relating to Germany’s and the EU’s relations with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia (see upcoming program announcements and event reports).

Regular discussion groups include the Discussion Group on Poland and the Discussion Group on Russia and the Eastern Partnership.

In addition to this, the center supervises and coordinates several programs and initiatives of the Robert Bosch Stiftung whose activities are aimed at supporting and connecting decision makers and young scholars. One of these programs isthe Carl Friedrich Goerdeler Kolleg, which provides professional training in good governance to a new generation of executives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.

Another project is the online discussion network OME-Netz, which brings together some two hundred Poland experts and followers from policy, academia, and journalism. Via an internal mailing list, the network discusses analyses and articles on German-Polish relations as well as topics that extend bilateral relations. Contact Alena Epifanova to sign up for inclusion on the distribution list.
