Pro-Russian Milos Zeman faces tough run-off for Czech presidency

From the article in Financial Times: “Drahos is the clear favourite. The second round is his to lose. If you look at the votes in absolute numbers, Zeman got around 2m votes, and Drahos got around 1.4m,“ said Milan Nic, from the German Council on Foreign Relations. “The combined votes of Horacek, Hilser, Fischer and Topolanek are around 1.7m. So if Drahos can win more than half of those, he wins. Zeman needs to mobilise his own people, and for others not to turn out for Drahos.”
