Discussion with

Dr. Henning Riecke
Head, USA/Transatlantic Relations Program,

On November 8, 2016, the United States will elect their new President. Together with Henning Riecke, we will discuss the election campaigns of Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump, their public perception, as well as potential outcomes and consequences of the 2016 US presidential election.

Henning Riecke focuses on German, European, and US foreign and security policy. Before joining the DGAP in 2000, he was a Thyssen Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. Between 1994 and 1999, he held several positions at the Center for Transatlantic Foreign and Security Policy Studies at the Freie Universität, Berlin, where he also completed his PhD in political science.

Felix Hofmann, co-director of the Young DGAP’s working group on networking and communication, will host the event, which will be held in English.

After the discussion, we invite you to watch the election live on television at the Soho House cinema.
