With the current crisis on its eastern border, NATO’s mission is as timely now as it was 65 years ago when the alliance was founded. Ongoing tensions pose questions about how to proceed with NATO-Russian relations in times when dialogue seems impossible. What do current developments mean for NATO’s future and its capabilities? How will the Alliance adapt to the shift from operational engagement after the end of ISAF in Afghanistan toward general operational preparedness? How will NATO proceed in strengthening global partners in light of the Ukrainian crisis? Please join us for a discussion with our distinguished guests:

Speakers:
Ambassador Douglas E. Lute
U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO

Ambassador Martin Erdmann

Moderation:
Dr. Henning Riecke
